NO!

That’s not edible. No! No good. No.

I said NO!

……

HEY! WHAT I TOLD YOU!?

NO EATING RAW FROG!!

WE DON’T HAVE TIME FOR THIS!

WE NEED TO GO BACK AND FILM SEASON 3!
COME BACK HERE!! FAN’S ARE WAITING!!

It’s here! Baby Yoda from Bandai S.H.Figuarts! Since Hasbro slacked off and did not offer us the crib, I am sure many of us were waiting to jump on the Bandai version. And obviously, we knew the sculpt be better too.

This little one is cute but IS A NIGHTMARE! It is safe to say no one expected much articulation from him but Bandai made this extra difficult to do literally anything!

Baby Yoda or the Child comes with a total of 3 head sculpt which all of them are cute but like its arms, it is hard as hell to swap them since the pegs simply hate going into the peg hole. It’s simply draining.

And I know they wanted to add extra details on his robe and using cloth doesn’t do that for something this small so they gave a sculped wrist area and scarf. And they aren’t glued or connected to the cloth so you can always see the damn gaps! And because it’s just so bothersome, I didn’t care about even using the sculpted wrist cloth. And I don’t think the photo misses that detail since Baby Yoda is just so small that that additional detail wasn’t needed in the first case.

Bandai one is a bit bigger than the Hasbro one but it seems like, in reality, Baby Yoda should be right in the middle when it comes to the height. But regardless, I do prefer the Bandai version. That said, THIS FIGURE IS THE MOST ENERGY DRAINING FIGURE OF 2020. Man, it’s a horror to swap anything and I ain’t doing it again! Fair warning to those who are buying. You are getting yourself a Gremlin and that’s not good news.

Unlike Hasbro, Bandai did not cheap out with the baby crib and it looks great! You get a stand and it comes with a brown blanket but the blanket is a bit too long so you may want to cut it or find a shorter one to better fit with your baby.

That said, he’s SUPER CUTE! I used blue tac to have his head connected on the body since the peg and peg hole simply hates each other. Don’t worry peg and peg hole. I hate you two too.

This is one of those figures you can use for any circumstance. Like the April O’Neil figure I reviewed, he can take the spotlight and be a troll king.

The articulation is bothersome. Especially the legs always bend in a weird way but since he’s so light, the robe itself is actually making the figure stand. In short, you don’t need leg articulation.

In short, he’s best to use as a statue. He comes with a soup holding arms and the cup but damn. It’s so hard to connect them. Bandai should have just made one piece instead of separating the cup and arms. Pegs are not going into the peg holes here too.

But the cuteness is God tier.

Seriously. He’s a troll king. You can have him anywhere and he steals the show.

I would love to know how Palpatine would react seeing a mini Yoda sitting on his throne!

And daddy is always here to come to save him from any problem he may be in!
We all know the film Mandalorian borrowed its story from the legendary Akira Kurosawa’s Lone Wolf and Cub but Star Wars itself was also a space version of many Akira Kurosawa movies. And it’s amazing to know that great stories can be done even if they change the genre.

So what do I think about this figure? A NIGHTMARE. It will make you frustrated and exhausted due to the poor construction of the pegs. It feels like Bandai wanted to do a lot but they sold it before everything was tested.

That all said, he is crazy cute and he can be used in almost any scene. And he is definitely better than the Hasbro version but I am quite sure you will stop swapping the heads and arms so be prepared before you decide to purchase this cute monster.

  1. I do agree with all the ideas you’ve presented in your post.

They are really convincing and will definitely work. Still, the posts
are too short for novices. May just you please lengthen them a
little from subsequent time? Thank you for the post.

  2. Hey! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website?

I’m getting tired of WordPress because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform.
I would be awesome if you could point me in the direction of a
    good platform.

  3. Someone essentially lend a hand to make critically
posts I’d state. That is the very first time I frequented
your web page and thus far? I surprised with the analysis
you made to create this actual put up incredible.
    Great task!
