Look at my Sonic. He’s unhappy with me. He’s disappointed that I haven’t reviewed his figure until now. But no worry Sonic, you are so much fun and I am sure you will be loved by so many after this review.

Here he is! The blue hedgehog with undoubtedly confident smile we loved and cared. Now, this is Nendoroid so the proportion is adjusted to the line. Sonic has a longer arm and leg but I am totally fine with this. In fact, I prefer this better. He looks cute.

Sonic comes with a total of three faceplates and a lot of accessories which I will further explain below. Let’s start with swapping his confident smile to a smirk smile or with an unpleasant faceplate.

It’s a bit of horror when removing the faceplate but each face can simply slide off without much force.

Nope, that’s not all his accessories. Much more coming below.

Sonic comes with several sets of hands but one thing I must point out is that his knee or elbow will not bend. that said, he does come with one arm and leg option that has the elbow and knee bend. That said, swapping them is a bit of a hassle so I don’t mind my Sonic posed without his arm and leg bent.

Sonic comes with his iconic “Goal”, his “Coin” and “Diamond”.

You will receive a total of 5 item plates that you can insert into the capsule. I always jumped on the extra life item. Good old days.

To have the item plate inside the capsule, first, remove the top part of the capsule and then slide the plate into the capsule base.

The clear capsule part will split in half if you remove the top cap. Then, sandwich the plate with the two clear capsules and put back the top cap.

Well, I would have bought him regardless but it’s so much fun blasting your toys with characters from other franchises.

I was from way before Nintendo or Atari ever arrived on the market. My first introduction to gaming wasn’t even an invader game. It’s from a computer with a black screen and only green letters and lines. So each time when a game has evolved, it struck me. Of course, Nintendo and Mario were what sparked the biggest shock, but Sonic came and showed how beautiful a game can become. He is in a lot of ways, an idol of the gaming industry.

And here you go!
This is what you can do with your Sonic and this is why you would love him like how I love this figure.

Having the two biggest game heroes fighting off is a dream come true!

Honestly, I am no longer a gamer. Those days were long behind me. But with these beautiful action figures, I can feel that I am in a way, still a part of it.

Overall, as you expected, I am happy with this figure. Because it’s a Nendoroid, it doesn’t have much articulation but Sonic is a character that you don’t need much to show his awesomeness.
