A legendary movie needs a legendary figure. The box is definitely great. It brings back so many memories and I was there when it came out. How about the figure? It looks great. With a lot of problems.

One thing Neca does so well is their sculpting department. I never had anything bad to say about it. It’s beautiful. Even the paintings on his clothes are great. Two-layered jacked inside to add some realism.

Ok Neca, you got me. That video recorder!! I had something similar! And yes, it’s bulky but that’s what we had back then. I love all the accessories added to this figure. Perfect assortment Neca. Just the hand holder for the video recorder would snap easily so becreaful!

Beautiful wrinkles everywhere and I love the paints used on the clothing. The jeans are a bit glossy but you can spray some semi-matte if you like. And the inside shirt is beautiful too!

The skateboard is a bit small? But the bag looks nice. It really feels like it’s been pulled down by gravity.

Now, praise ends here. Kind of. The articulation is horrifying!! He can barely bend any of his joints and look at how he holds the video camera! How in the hell is Marty going to film!?

That said, the sunglass with the guitar is the best thing about this figure. Truly beautiful and I will be posing him exactly like so. His regular head seems to look a bit odd. Looks very dated and I really think it’s about time for Neca to bring in face printing technology to compete with others because they are really behind in that area.

The great thing about having Marty in your figure is that you can use him in almost any scene. Star wars? Fine! Jurassic Park? Fine! DC or Marvel? Absolutely fine! The play factor only depends on your imagination!

I am totally against reboot or remake of any legendary movies since it would fail and the reason’s obvious. When theses movie were made, it was made by real creative people to tell a creative story. remake only means they are doing to make pity money. No heart is in there and how you tell a good story without a heart? People today should stop being lazy and leaching on the older franchises but start learning to be really creative.

That all said, I don’t mind Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd reprising their role as Marty and Doc and time travel around other franchises to joke around. I know the time machine can’t and not suppose to travel to a different universe or galaxy but it’s the Doc. He probably can make it happen. He just needs to come back from the past to the present first. In that case, I think we can have a lot of fun! Think about them crashing into Tatooine and needing parts while we see Obi-Wan using Jedi’s mind tricks on the Sandtroopers. That be so much fun!

In the end, it’s a fun figure with very bad articulation. If you haven’t watched the movie nor have an emotional connection, you might say “what in the hell is this shit!? I can’t even make him sit!!”. I understand and agree. It’s more about nostalgia than anything else but I am happy.
