i am lucky
The movie “Deadpool 2” was awesome and honestly, I enjoyed more than “Deadpool 1”. And Domino was a lot of fun too!

It’s always nice to get an additional head plus more than one pair of hands. Hasbro should seriously do more of these. Give us more hands since that’s mandatory for today’s collector. She also comes with 2 pairs of firearms. The machine guns are the ones we saw her use in the film but the other two looks like it’s from another Marvel figure and not related to the film.
Give us Deadpool with Ryan Renold face option and Vanessa figure set.
Give us Yukio and Negasonic Teenage Warhead set.
Give us Colossus and the taxi driver kid.
Give us Cable and Weasel.
Give us Domino with Black dusty Deadpool
NO TARGET, WALMART, WALGREEN SHIT FXXX EXCLUSIVE. These sets should be offered everywhere.
Last but not the least, give them all the same amount of accessories as the Deadpool & Negasonic set. We know you will offer the BAF figure in a single pack in the future anyway so there’s no point for BAF. But if you must give BAF for this line, GIVE US JUGGERNAUT BAF! There we go! we are all happy! And YES, you may raise the price for additional accessories plus the BAF. No issue at all. Hell, if you want, throw Ajax and Angel Dust set and I will buy them too. What? What about Bob? Hell, give us Stan Lee cameo with Bob then. Mark my words. I will buy them and so shall many collectors too!
By the way, I am a comic book reader since the early 80s and Domino is someone very unique and special to me. I know people are very sensitive with skin color and representation and stuff today but it does hurt me when they change a character’s crucial appearance for no other reason. Domino had bleach white skin with a black mark on her left eye and that was her icon trademark. That is what distinguished her instantly from everybody else. If they want a kick-ass black girl hero or whatever race and gender hero to get a spotlight, the only smart way is to make a new character and give us a kick-ass story. I am a Japanese Canadian and we Japanese are far more minority in Hollywood. Hell, when a Japanese character appears in Hollywood movies, 99% is done by a Chinese or Korean actor. It is very rare to have a real Japanese actor doing the role and I ain’t bitching about it.
I love Blade. He’s badass. I love Tchalla. He is a true king. I love Storm. She’s a smart and powerful leader. I am totally cool watching other heroes from another race and gender as long as the story is great and I hope to see more of them but I really am not fond of seeing an already existing character to be altered like so since that is a direct insult to the creator and to the fans who have been supporting these characters all these years. And yes, they are a fictional character but they are more than that. They will stay around way after our generation. In a way, they are more.
That all said, I think Zazie Beetz did a fantastic job. She was funny, smart, and had a kickass moment. Most of the time when we have a race or gender swap on an existing popular character or a franchise, it is sure to bomb and fail. History proved that too many times so there’s no way to dispute that (yet we are still getting those for some reason…). But this Domino worked probably because director David Leitch and Ryan Renold treated her without making her skin or gender important. She was treated as a character and that was done beautifully. Sometimes, if you do it right, gender or race swapping does work.
Then I may hear from the comic book fans that “Well, why not have Zazie have her skin in bleach white? In that way, you can respect the character and so-called minority actors”. That is a fair argument. You don’t need to show off your skin to show how great of an actor you are. Take Hugo Weaving who did V from V for Vendetta. He never showed his face once in that movie and my god he was brilliant. He was able to express V’s attitude, sorrow, and anger just by his voice and body posture. That is what true actors can do. So if you are good at what you are doing and need a chance to show that, it’s never necessary to show your skin or gender. You just need to play your part. But if that is not possible since people today aren’t still ready for that, well, I hope they will do it like how Domino was done in Deadpool 2. I love how Zazie did her role and the movie was brilliant and heartwarming.
And YES, her height and proportion work great with Deadpool and Negasonic Teenage Warhead! What? This blog was less about the figure and more about the movie? Well, I spoke about something more important. I talked about “PLEASE HASBRO, GIVE US OTHER CHARACTERS FROM THIS FRANCHISE IN FIGURE FORM!!!!”. That is what we collector wants!
And YES, I WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST THIS FIGURE.
The figure looks great. She looks like Zazie and I love Zazie. Her articulation is decent and her accessories are great for a Hasbro figure. I hope Hasbro stop making these figure so hard to get though. That is the only gripe I have with this Deadpool movie figure line.
Now, I have been doing Marvel-related figures so I should show some love toward the DC figures. Please stay tuned for the Dark Knight review next!
