Vegito is a character that has a special place among DBZ fans. He was the last transformation we’ve saw that was OP as hell in the DBZ manga.

The box is clean and simple as usual. Small and compact and we collector love boxes that do not waste our store space.

Because Vegito is simply Goku’s gi in a different color, I thought Bandai will simply recycle the mold from Goku but apparently, they gave him a new sculpt and that is the difference between a Japanese company like Bandai versus some western companies like Hasbro where we see a lot of recycling parts.

Yes, this makes Japanese products more expensive. Vegito is sold for $60 USD at Premium Bandai USA but Marvel Legends and Black Series are $23 with almost no accessories. Because new mold making costs significantly higher, and Bandai figure’s material and articulation are far superior to Hasbro, I don’t see this $60 price tag justified.

We get 3 faceplates but we need to share the front hair which I don’t understand why. Couldn’t Bandai just give us a front hair for all the faceplates?

We also get two unique effects too and Vegito’s iconic Ki-Sword is massive! Again, for all this, I don’t think $60 is overpriced.

Now, which one do you prefer? Vegito or Gogeta? They are both cocky and OP but Gogeta also is another fan favorite for DBZ movie fans. He only appeared for a few minutes in the end and did not speak at all (until the Broly movie) but easily defeated the insanely powerful Janenba.

Because I was not able to get my hands on Dragon Ball Heroes, I do not know if they have done any versus battle between these two but I would surely love to watch it.

Btw, articulation is fantastic as usual!

Look at that Ki-Sword effect! It’s massive! And very sharp so be careful!

I don’t know if you watch any Gundam series but this reminds me of Gundam Epyon’s Mega Beam Saber that chopped a space colony in half.

This is absolutely unique effect that probably you can use for so many other figures. These kinds of versatile accessories are very helpful to expand your creativity.

So, Kale was allowed to use the Potara in the Tournament of Power. This means any characters from any universe should be allowed too. And I am sure every universe has one. I know Goku and Vegeta were just too prideful to use one but they didn’t mind using it against Buu since he was a risk to the galaxy. Saving the universe seems to be far more important so I don’t see why they didn’t use it.

That said, if Jiren used the Potara, it was a game over for everyone. That said, like Goku and Vegeta, probably Jiren will only want to win with his own fist.
Wait a minute! Goku did borrow Android 17 and Frieza’s hand so I don’t see the reason not to use Potara.
Maybe they need to bring Potara into the battle before it starts.

Vegito was like the last resort for DBZ movie fans. They use it only in true desperation and both Goku and Vegeta drop their egos and fuse for the greater good. So seeing him used against Merged Zamasu was quite fitting but since Vegito was not able to defeat Zamasu, that does make us older fans a bit underwhelmed. We wanted something like Gogeta against Broly. That said, not like Buu was defeated by Vegito.
Maybe Gogeta is a character that is destined to overpower and wins while Vegito will over power but leave the final blow for someone else.
